Shipping policy

GSG Essentials LLC is dedicated to providing reliable, efficient delivery of your essential items. To maintain our high standard of service to Department of Corrections facilities, we coordinate closely with our suppliers to ensure consistent product availability. Before placing your order, please review our shipping schedule below. 

ALL ORDERS SHIP ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY 

To ensure the highest quality and freshness of your order, all shipments go out at the beginning of the week. This prevents packages from being delayed in transit over weekends.

We take pride in our commitment to quality: all perishable items are carefully packed with ice packs and premium insulated packaging to maintain optimal freshness during delivery.

Please be advised, our schedule is subject to delays due to order volume and seasonal demand schedules. 

Once shipped, you will receive a notice and confirmation on delivery. If any items are out of stock, you will also be notified by e-mail or phone. 

Packages are shipped via UPS, Expected delivery is typically 2-3 days from TIME OF SHIPPING.

Tracking and delivery confirmation will be provided.

**Please note GSG's scope of responsibility and service is to deliver your order to the facility, and obtain a signed proof of delivery. We have no control over the order processing at the facility, the time required to process the order at the facility, or the package status after it has been signed for and accepted at the facility. 

If support is needed regarding a delivered package, please contact the respective facility and ask for your loved one's guidance counselor. They can provide information about any packages that have been received.

Delivery may be affected by the following circumstances: 

  • Security holds on the transaction
  • Unconfirmed delivery address/inmate din number
  • Facility related delays,
  • Inmate related restrictions
  • Loss of package
  • Medical, court, or any other factors that may prevent successful delivery. 

THANKSGIVING DELIVERY GUARANTEE: Order must be placed by Nov. 15th. Orders placed after this date will be processed as usual but may not arrive by Thanksgiving due to increased holiday shipping volume.
